Lori Kneeland Hellum
Lori Kneeland Hellum received her Juris Doctor from the Quinnipac College School of Law in 1995. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, as well as an Associate in Science from Mohegan Community College in Norwich. Attorney Hellum is admitted to practice in Connecticut State Courts and the Federal District of Connecticut. She and Attorney McIntyre combined their individual practices to form Hellum & McIntyre, LLC in September 1997. Attorney Hellum belongs to the Connecticut Bar Association, New London County Bar Association, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Divorce Solutions of Connecticut, and the Connecticut Council for Divorce Mediation and Collaborative Practice.
Attorney Hellum is a life-long resident of New England, predominantly here in Connecticut. She attended public schools in Ledyard, Connecticut and Ellsworth, Maine, graduating in 1976. She has been a full-time resident of New London County since 1980.
Attorney Hellum's main areas of practice are Family and Juvenile Law. Included in these categories are divorce, custody and visitation issues, paternity, and child abuse and neglect. She also handles cases in probate court.
